So whos right about climate change?

We have heard from all of the "experts" for decades, back in the 80's we were going to see global cooling, then global warming now we are told that we will see global cooling for the next decade? What are we real people supposed to believe. I have theories to all of this alas I am just a common person so this post is not going to be full of technical jargon or fancy insight, just common sense.

Have you ever noticed that the people and organizations that are feeding us all of this garbage are making money off the data! Well it doesn't take a genious to figure out that the person selling the snake oil is going to tell you his snake oil is better than the other guys! Even the government has an axe to grind in this one. After all we all know that snake oil from Washington is not only the most expensive on the market but it is also the most apt to keep you running to the bathroom! While the snake oil salesmen are telling us that global warming is real, they are collecting more grant money to study it. If it happens to be the right message comming out of the research the more money the government pours into it. So if a researcher comes back with data that is contradictory to the goals of the government money will stop flowing into that project.

Now I am certainly not saying that we don't need to change but I don't believe in the reason for the change. I believe that the reason to change our fuel focus is strictly national security and monetary. We have to stop bowing down to the masters in the Middle East and Venezuala. We need to be more self sufficient. This is not just in fuel it is across the board. If our neighbors are not working because we have sent thier job overseas we have a problem but this is for another article. We have to find ways to move away from business as usual, we need to drill the oil that we have while we develope new technologies. We need a clear path to independance but we cannot make decisions on that path by what is the best for lining the pocket of politicians we have to do this for ourselves. Lets not forget that all of the money behind all of this crap belongs to us. The government doesn't have any money to spend that it doesn't take from us first or in the case of deficit spending it doesn't take from our grandchildren.

Please I am begging all of you, vote for real change not just idle talk. This is your/our country not the politicians country! We own it, we pay the bills for it and we will be left with the mess if those that we elect to do the job are doing more for thier own bank account than they are doing for us. I am fed up with elected official disrespecting citizens that stand up to them as if they are our masters or know more than we do. My personal checkbook is in good order how about the governments? My children won't have to worry about paying my bills but my grandchildren will have to worry about the governments? Hello wake up smell the coffee!
